What this costs you
Last updated 25 July 2026
HomeGrants.ie is free to homeowners. There is nothing to pay and nothing to refund — this page explains how that works and how to stop at any point.
Nothing to pay
Checking your grants and requesting quotes are both free. We never ask a homeowner for payment, card details or a subscription. We are paid by contractors, who buy the introduction when we pass them a request.
That is worth knowing for a second reason: it means a contractor who contacts you through us has paid to reach you, so they are motivated to turn up and quote properly. It does not mean you owe anyone anything.
You are never committed
- Requesting quotes does not book anything. You can decline every quote you receive.
- A site survey is free and carries no obligation. Ask before it starts if you are unsure.
- Any contract for work is between you and the contractor — see our Terms.
Changing your mind
Reply to any email from us, or write to info@homegrants.ie, and we will remove your details and stop passing them on. We cannot recall a request already sent to a contractor — ask that contractor directly to erase your details, and we will give you their contact details if you need them. See our Privacy notice.
If a contractor lets you down
Tell us at info@homegrants.ie. We cannot resolve a dispute over work we are not party to, but we do act on it: a contractor who does not turn up, quotes something other than what was asked for, or pressures a homeowner stops receiving introductions from us.
