Terms of Service
Last updated 25 May 2026
These terms apply when you use HomeGrants.ie and when you buy a personalised grant report. By using the site or buying a report you agree to them.
Who we are
HomeGrants.ie is an independent home-grants information service based in Ireland. Contact: info@homegrants.ie.
What we provide
HomeGrants.ie is an independent information service. We are not SEAI, the Government of Ireland, a local authority, or any grant body, and we are not affiliated with them. The personalised report is a paid guide that brings together publicly available grant information and your answers to show which Irish home-energy grants may be open to your home, with indicative figures and the steps to apply.
The report is built from the answers you give and published data for homes in your area. It is not a check of your specific home or Eircode — we do not look up your Eircode or verify your individual eligibility, and no one can confirm your eligibility on your behalf. You confirm your own eligibility yourself, directly with SEAI, using your home's MPRN (the report shows you how).
Estimates, not guarantees
- All grant amounts, eligibility statements and figures are estimates based on current published scheme rates and the answers you provide. They are not an offer of funding and not a guarantee that any grant will be approved.
- Grant rules and amounts change. You must confirm current rules and your eligibility with the official scheme (e.g. SEAI) and your local authority before relying on any amount or starting any work.
- Whether a grant is paid is decided solely by SEAI / the relevant authority, not by us.
Price, payment and delivery
- The report costs €14.95 (introductory offer; usually €29), shown at checkout. Payment is processed securely by Stripe (Apple Pay, Google Pay or card). We do not store your card details.
- The report is digital content delivered electronically — it opens in your browser immediately after payment and a copy is emailed to the address you provide at checkout.
Your responsibilities
- Give accurate answers — the report's usefulness depends on the information you enter.
- Use the report for your own home and personal use. Do not resell, republish or redistribute it.
- Do not misuse the site (for example automated scraping, attempting to bypass payment, or interfering with the service).
Intellectual property
The report layout, text, designs and the site are owned by us or our licensors. Buying a report gives you a personal licence to use it; it does not transfer ownership.
Liability
We provide the report with reasonable care, but to the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for decisions you make based on it, for grant applications that are refused, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer. Our total liability for any claim relating to a report is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Cancellation & refunds
See our Refund & Consumer Rights policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. This does not deprive you of any protection of mandatory consumer law in your place of residence.
Changes
We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published here when you buy. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
