Grants pay part of the bill. You pay the rest. Have you got your part ready?

You pay the contractor first. SEAI sends you the grant money afterwards, once the job is done and checked.

Can a contractor call out to measure up?

Nobody can give you a real price without seeing the job first.

That doesn’t look like a full Eircode yet.

Heat pump quote FAQs

How much is the SEAI heat pump grant in 2026?

Since 3 February 2026 the bundled package reaches up to €12,500 for houses, €9,500 for apartments and €7,500 for air-to-air systems. The base unit grant is up to €6,500 for houses, and replacing oil, gas, solid-fuel or electric storage heating can add a €4,000 renewable heat bonus. Always confirm current rates on SEAI.ie.

Does my home need insulation before a heat pump?

A heat pump works best — and qualifies most smoothly — in a home with reasonable insulation. A technical assessment confirms heat-pump readiness, and installers factor this into their quotes and advice.

Is this quote service really free?

Yes. Contractors pay us a fee for introductions — homeowners never pay anything and are under no obligation to accept any quote.

Who will contact me?
