Who we are and what this site is for
HomeGrants.ie is an independent Irish home-grants service. We make the grants your home qualifies for — SEAI, Warmer Homes and local-authority schemes — easy to understand, show you what the work would leave you paying after the grant, and put you in touch with SEAI-registered contractors covering your county. It is free to homeowners; contractors pay us for the introduction.
What the site helps you do
- See every grant your home may qualify for, by Eircode, house type and build year.
- Understand the main SEAI grant categories in plain English.
- See the figures, the conditions, and the balance you would fund yourself — then get quotes from registered contractors if you want them.
- Know which upgrades cost little after grants and which are bigger decisions.
What we don’t promise
- No guarantee of grant approval.
- No substitute for a technical survey, BER assessment, or installer scope.
- Figures are estimates based on current SEAI rates and your answers.
- We are not SEAI or a government body.
Independent, not SEAI
HomeGrants.ie is not part of SEAI. We use the official SEAI grant pages as the core reference and encourage you to verify live grant rules there before committing to any work.
How we use sources
Official SEAI grant pages are the main source base. Where typical-cost guidance is shown, we explain the method on the methodology page and list the source set on the sources page.
