For upgrades such as insulation, windows and doors, a heat pump or solar panels. Check the grant’s conditions and use a contractor registered for that work. You pay the contractor in full and SEAI pays the grant back after the work.
For a package of home energy upgrades. A registered One Stop Shop manages the application and work, and deducts the grant from the price up front. You pay the balance.
Fully funded upgrades for homeowners who meet the scheme’s conditions, including qualifying welfare payments. SEAI assesses the home and decides which works are suitable.
